Standard-duty plastic/laminate cutter, designed to produce a fine score line to precisely break plastics, acrylic and laminates. Features built-in room for spare blades and blade retractable function. 2 spare blades in handle with shipment. Creates fine score lines on hard plastic plates made of acrylic and PVC for a clean break. Also used for making striations in various hard materials and plastic models. Wheel locking system secures the blade position during use. (1) Repeat cutting until it reaches at least half the thickness of plastic plate.Cutting depth needed depends on the thickness of material to be broken. To ensure a clean break, cut to a sufficient depth. (2) Break plastic board by snapping from the edge. Use the back of blade to smooth the cut edge. *Be sure to retract blade after use. Remove the screw and pull out the blade. Two additional replacement blades are stored in handle
